These biscuit could bring world peace. And the fact that yall don’t sell them by the dozen should be illegal! Lol great place to eat with amazing service and even better biscuits! I’ll make sure to come back any time we drive thru!
What a treasure! Lovely little restaurant. Lovely staff. And the food was really good. Had eggs, bacon, crispy hashbrowns just how I love them & the toast. We also had a Swiss burger. Would def come back when in the area.
Amazing food, old school dinner vibes, service like you are a human being. After years of overseas service coming back to this made it even better. God bless this restaurant and its people! Had the catfish and fell in love.
Our group of 12 was traveling through and looking for somewhere for a good lunch with several options. We posed the idea to the group with the caveat that it's inside a gas station... but we all agreed to take the plunge, and we're so glad we did! We met Cara (who *happens* to be from where we're from) and had a wonderful lunch! If you're looking for fine dining, this isn't it. If you're looking for down home cooking with plenty of options, give it a try! The food was hot, correct, fast, and enjoyable! We were in and out in a little over an hour at 12:30 on a Saturday!
The food was amazing. Prices were unbeatable and the staff was super friendly.
The environment here is very comfortable, and the service is warm and attentive. I really enjoyed this place. I was a truck driver passing through and stopped by the front desk to inquire about overnight parking. The answer was: free parking! Although I didn't buy anything, they didn't mind if I borrowed their microwave to heat up some food, as my truck's transformer had tripped and the microwave wasn't working. I found everyone to be incredibly friendly and welcoming; they weren't impatient at all, even though I didn't buy anything. I highly recommend all truck drivers to experience their convenient service. Thank you!
Good food, slow service. They do serve breakfast all day - which was our only requirement. It's in a gas station, but you'd hardly know it from the inside. It's a pretty nice space with a modest amount of seating. The food was all fresh and tasty. No complaints there. We were kind of in a hurry to get back to El Paso and the slow service had us worried about timing - but we made it.
I'm not sure how rustic I think the place was, being in the truck stop and all. They serve breakfast all day. We were there during slow hours, I could hear the cook dicing our veggies. The Denver omelet was nicely filled with red, green peppers, onions, ham and cheese. Hash browns could have been a little browner, sausage gravy was country gravy with diced sausage layed on top. The biscuit was fried which is uncommon but really tasty. My milk came out cold and with the food, just as ordered. If we're back in the area we'll visit again.
